Learning and memory are complex processes that have different stages. Cognitive impairment is one of the major problems in normal life and in some cognitive diseases.
Currently, the center uses Y-maze and passive avoidance tests to experimentally evaluate drug performance and memory in laboratory mice.
1. Y-maze test: Y-maze is a simple method for determination of spatial recognition memory based on the innate tendency of rodents to explore novel environments. The following device is associated with this test.
2. Passive avoidance test: This test is used to evaluate the effect of the drug on long-term memory and learning. The following device is associated with this test.
