Mission of Research Center:

The research center has developed a program for achieving its main goals, which in brief is as follow:

• Definition and use of cited and standard models in the pathophysiological studies of common diseases in the country with diagnostic, and therapeutic or preventive value and also the use of chemical agents for the discovery of biological processes.

• The logical link between the findings of basic medical sciences and the clinic in order to achieve rapid, rational and effective treatment of the diseases.

• This research center is able in pursuance of its long-term goals to attract research topics of the day, produce science, and publish articles. There is also succeed to establish relations and agreements with domestic and foreign scientific centers, hold an educational workshop and training as well as scientific discussion sessions.

Vision Statement:

Experimental Medicine Research Center is trying to extension interest in research among the students and researchers, to support and develop researches at all academic levels now. It is believed that both fundamental and applied sciences in different fields of experimental medicine research will be raised up in this center.

Research Fields and Interests:

Experimental methods in biomedicine such as cancer, multiple sclerosis, alzheimer's, heart and respiratory disease, diabetes methods and etc., Fundamental and Applied Toxicology and Pharmacology, Applied new Technologies (nanomedicine, tissue engineering, imaging etc.), and Translational medicine.
